A Free Oral History Training Program For Kids And Teens.

LISTEN training sessions will be held once a month at various community centers, library branches, and other public venues on the first Saturday of the month from February to October 2012. Sessions last two hours and will provide basic training for children and teens to conduct interviews with family members and seniors in their community. More about Listen.

Workshops

Free workshops presented by Boise City Department of Arts & History are offered in spring and fall to cover a wide variety of arts, history, and cultural interests. 

The spring series starts February 13, 2012 and focuses on Historic Homes. More about Historic Homes workshops.


Re-Art

The Boise City Department of Arts & History, TRICA (Treasure Valley Institute of Children's Arts) and Boise Public Libraries present Re-Art, a free children's art program series with and with support from Idaho Power.  Classes are targeted to children between ages 5 and 10 years of age.  Join us September through May on the second weekend of the month for classes that include breakdancing, architecture, culinary arts, old time radio show sound effects, interior design, and more!
