Cultural Cafes

To learn about the needs of local cultural groups, Arts & History, along with the Idaho Commission on the Arts, began hosting a series of Cultural Cafes in the summer of 2009.  With a new department and the change in global economics, the time was right to reach out to our Boise constituency.  Using The World Cafe model (www.theworldcafe.com), we hosted workshops for cultural organizations, visual artists, performing artists, and humanities professionals.  Throughout the meetings, we heard one consistent theme:  an urgent need for collaboration. Since 2009, the Department of Arts & History has hosted 5 Cultural Cafes.

UPCOMING CULTURAL CAFES: TBA
