Caitlin Hocklander, History Program Assistant

In her role as History Programs Registrar, Caitlin Hocklander (she/her) documents and cares for the department's artifact collection. She also performs original research to fulfill internal and external research requests, and in that role has cultivated a detailed knowledge of the city's history.

“I believe it’s important to preserve and understand our past as we look forward to planning our future.”

Hocklander helps to coordinate department-related events and workshops throughout the year. While spending a semester abroad attending the University of the Basque Country outside of Bilbao, Spain, she discovered what will no doubt be a lifelong passion for international travel. She holds a B.A. and a B.S. from the University of Idaho.
