Jessi Willey, Cultural Sites Customer Service Ritual Coordinator
Jessi Willey is responsible for fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors to the James Castle House. As a point of entry to the rich history of James Castle, the General Store serves a very important role: generating revenue to support ongoing programs and conservation efforts on-site, making continued growth on-site possible.
Willey brings over 15 years of customer service and retail experience to her role with the City of Boise. Originally raised in Wyoming, she went to college at the University of Idaho, where she earned her BFA in Theatrical Production with an emphasis in Lighting and Set Design. Willey’s educational background and personal artistic practice have combined to establish her in a wide array of work opportunities, including costume assistance in the Film and Television industries, interior design, furniture design, and residential and commercial lighting. She looks forward to bringing her skills together to curate a positive retail experience with the City of Boise’s Cultural Sites and the Boise community.
