Public Art Project Coordinator - Public Works
The Boise City Department of Arts & History is searching for a full-time professional to provide project management, administration, and other specialized functions within the Public Art program to help implement the Public Works Arts Master Plan for the Public Works Department.
The City of Boise is seeking a full-time Public Art Project Coordinator to support project planning and implementation of the Public Works Arts Master Plan for the Public Works Department, in concert with the Department of Arts & History Public Art Team. This position:
- Supports the Public Works department with project management, administration, and other specialized functions within the public art program.
- Collaborates with various stakeholder groups, both internal and external, to support public art projects and artist opportunities.
- As part of the City of Boise's Climate Action goal to be completely carbon neutral by 2050, explores the intersection between art and the environment, calling upon artists to become impactful leaders in this space.
The Public Art Project Coordinator - Public Works serves in support of Boise Arts & History’s work to reinforce a sense of place, celebrate our community’s character, ensure exceptional arts, history, and cultural programming, and foster placemaking with community context.
