The Moses Alexander House is located at 304 W. State Street on the corner of 3rd and State. This Queen Anne/Victorian style home is located three blocks from the Idaho State Capitol. The home was built in 1897 and was the residence of Moses Alexander, the former Mayor of Boise and Governor of Idaho. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and it was acquired by the state of Idaho in 1977. It was recently restored in 2001.
