Pam McKnight began her art career as a painter of landscapes and still-life’s. Her interests evolved over time into more three-dimensional art, primarily assemblage. While McKnight still incorporates painting into most of her works, she enjoys repurposing cast off objects adding greater depth to her creations. Moving from flat and overbuilt Dallas Texas to Southwest Idaho in 2007 opened up a whole new world of mountain biking, hiking, and skiing, which became a big part of her life. This began to influence the themes of McKnight's art.
