Danielle Mierzwa's traffic box is located at Goddard and Milwaukee in Boise, which happens to be next to Capital High School. Mierzwa was asked to consider the eagle in her design, as it is the school mascot. She sketched out two eagles perched on a branch with snowy mountains in the background with some added pine tree branches for extra color. Mierzwa intended to keep the colors as close to nature as possible.
