As a part-time bartender working late nights and a student often enrolled in night classes, Caprai would frequently walk the streets of Boise after dark. These paintings offer a biographical glimpse into his life, as well as views of places that may go unnoticed by most people in his hometown. “Only after we realize we are surrounded by night can our eyes be blinded by the blazing light.” ~ Tony Caprai
