These functional pieces of art transform discarded pipes and components from the wastewater treatment plant into new, meaningful concepts. At the core of this work are issues of urban infrastructure and recycling. What were once functional parts of the Boise's infrastructure have been reimagined as vessels now serving clean water for drinking and washing. The natural patina of the aged pipes is preserved to highlight their history and recycled nature. Visitors are invited to engage with these relics and explore the intersection of water and daily life. These functional sculptures aim to draw attention to the vital role of the wastewater treatment plant, inviting viewers to recognize the process as critical aspect of our urban systems.
