This site-specific fabric mural at Boise Airport was designed to capture the beauty of Idaho, specifically Sun Valley's Bald Mountain. The 40' wide, 12' high mural consists of 32 suspended banners, creating a dynamic, swaying effect. The design mirrors the airport's architectural elements, with colors representing the four seasons and the vast Idaho sky. Artist Louis Kodis meticulously crafted this artwork by hand using machine-stitched layers of sheer silk organza, metallic materials, and nylon netting to evoke the light-filled essence of Sun Valley.
