Inspired from images captured at the Capital City Market Karen Boss wanted to depict a sense of movement, urgency and summer heat. Her art is moving towards surrealism / abstraction, and the work reflects this moving vision. In the work I have shifted figures, duplicated legs and torsos to give the sense that our feet are moving at a different pace than our hearts.
