I love stories. I'm an avid reader, and I love movies and games that revolve around engaging tales. As a native Idahoan, I have grown up backpacking, hiking, river rafting, and generally enjoying the outdoors. This piece is a culmination of those two loves, a snapshot of a story in the natural habitats I have spent much of my life enjoying. Hide and Sleep is a whimsical idea of a baby fawn falling asleep while mom and dad are looking for it in their dense forest home. I hope this piece brings those you see it some small enjoyment in following along with Doe and Buck, looking for the little fawn in the grass.
