The sculpture captures the dynamic motion of a bouncing ball, symbolizing the Collister Neighborhood's journey through past, present, and future. The first arc, representing the past, is made from steel and found objects with an iron patina, evoking the natural rusting of historical farm implements. The second arc, signifying the present, combines steel with a tapered block of native Idaho limestone, sandblasted with community symbols like birds, trees, and a plough, reflecting the neighborhood's enduring solidity. The final arc ascends into the future, crafted from polished stainless steel to represent modernity, featuring metal silhouettes of drawings by local elementary students, emphasizing the importance of the next generation's vision and creativity.
