An interior bathroom space with black and white square tile of various size, floral patterned shower curtain, and a partial view of a pink-framed mirror. Through painting, collage, and fiber, the artist weaves memory and material into a visceral diary on life. Portal-like compositions devoid of human presence tell a story about the shared human experience of being alone. This piece attempts to archive time by capturing places and moments through rich color and perspectives of lived experience. The concept aims to transfer evidence of life onto the canvas, translate memory into something tangible, and piece together a visual and physically understanding. The artist also explores the psychological effects of time, how it manipulates memories, and discards the illusion of control.
