Boise’s natural surroundings and the four elements, Air, Earth, Fire and Water are key components in the original design by Lawrence Ko. Amy Westover expanded upon these concepts in a visually dynamic and minimal way, using a variety of materials to enhance the visual suggestion of the four elements. "Transport" was deaccessioned in 2025 as part of the expansion of the airport's food court.
