Agriculture, a key industry in Idaho, is rooted in an awareness of the seasonal cycles governed by the movement of the sun, stars and moon. Virgo is a public artwork celebrating the constellations of the autumnal equinox harvest time and drawing public awareness to the cycles of the seasons as well as the escalating issue of light pollution that obscures our ability to enjoy the full majesty of the night sky in our urbanized environments.
