This bas-relief ceramic art series adorns the Boise Watershed’s garden river walk, offering a vivid portrayal of the Boise River's aquatic ecosystem. Beginning as a cold-water river in the mountains, the Boise River gradually warms as it meanders through the Treasure Valley, ultimately transforming into a warm river at its confluence with the Snake River. The artwork captures this ecological transition on the vertical surfaces of functional benches and stair sidewalls, weaving together intricate depictions of the diverse environments inhabited by plants, insects, fish, birds, and other wildlife. Through this series, the artist invites viewers to engage with the river's story, celebrating the rich tapestry of life that thrives along its banks.
