Rising 25 feet into the air, Water Chute captures a sense of continuous movement through sweeping, intertwining forms. Crafted from rolled and welded aluminum pipe with cast aluminum flourishes, the sculpture twists upward in rhythmic, scroll-like gestures—an homage to flow, energy, and transformation. Hanging aluminum box forms add contrast and gravity to the otherwise fluid design, while the cor-ten steel body grounds the piece with a warm, weathering patina. Echoing natural elements like wind, water, and light, "Water Chute" blends industrial precision with organic motion. Whether surrounded by minimalist landscaping or native xeriscape, it invites contemplation from every angle. Subtle lighting—suggestive of sunlight dancing on water—enhances the sculpture’s dynamic surface and shadow play, allowing it to transform from day to night.
