Floating nearly 30 feet above Bloch Plaza, Wind Dance features five vibrant kites swirling in the breeze—joyful symbols of resilience, freedom, and hope. Each kite, unique in color and motion, moves independently atop brushed stainless steel arms, animated by even the gentlest wind. Though distinct in form, together they create a shared aerial rhythm, celebrating the strength found in individuality and community alike. Below, a mirror-polished stainless steel gazing sphere rests in a cradle of native sandstone—drawing in sky, sculpture, and viewer. It reflects the essence of the plaza: interconnectedness, reflection, and the spirit of renewal.
