There are a plethora of horrific films to be seen and consumed at IHFF 2019, many that will be on the verge of release, and some that you’ll later discover become classics. You’ll look at our three-day film schedule and want to go on a three-day genre bender. So much horror, so little time! Schnikes, what do you choose?
The Idaho Horror Film Festival is made complete with an all-star line-up including Writer/Director, Daniel Myrick and our Trailblazer Honoree Director, Chelsea Stardust. Q&As by your favorite writers, actors, and filmmakers and free educational panels
IHFF screens films in six categories; Feature Length, Animated, Shorts, Foreign, and the “locals only” classification of Spud and Guts. This category is a no-fee contest designed to promote our native filmmakers.
The festival line-up offers more than 60 short films, special programs, guests, panels, and events. If you love genre films, then you can't miss this fest.
In addition to the films, the Idaho Horror Film Fest puts on fun events including the Downtown Bar Walk, Horror Poetry Slam, Flash Fiction Competition, and a Horror Trivia Night. We even have our own beer, Draculager, made with love by friends at Woodland Empire Ale Craft.
