About the Cultural and Creative Industries Plan

In anticipation of a needed update to the City of Boise’s 2017 Cultural Plan, the Department of Arts & History assessed the city’s cultural landscape through a public survey and nine subsequent listening sessions between November 2024 and May 2025. The survey and listening sessions were aimed at both the general public as well as specific audiences – artists and cultural organizations. The results have been analyzed and will be used to draft Boise’s next Cultural and Creative Industries Plan, identifying service gaps and other needs that City of Boise generally and Boise Arts & History specifically can meet.
