2027 Grant Applications Open May 1 for Cultural Projects Benefiting Boise Residents

 

Beginning on Friday, May 1, individuals and organizations in established and emerging creative and cultural fields with proposals designed to directly benefit Boise residents can apply for the annual Arts & History Grant program. The program will award a total of $150,000 for cultural projects that take place within Boise City Limits and occur between October 1, 2026, and September 30, 2027. 

Applicants can apply for grant amounts between $1,000 and $5,000. Grants are reviewed by a panel consisting of members of the community and the Arts & History Commission, and awarded based on community benefit, alignment with the City of Boise's vision of A City for Everyone, project readiness, implementation and logistics, and accessibility.
 
Applications will be accepted through June 16, 2026 and must be submitted online. Access grant criteria and a link to the application at boiseartsandhistory.org/Grants.
 
Applicants are invited to join Arts & History staff for in-person and virtual information sessions.
