City Presents America 250 ‘Living Legacies & Changemakers’ Panel, Activities
The City of Boise is hosting its second America 250 event on Thursday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m. at Jack’s Urban Meeting Place (JUMP, 1000 W Myrtle St, Boise) with Living Legacies & Changemakers: Idaho Women Rewriting the Blueprint.
This free panel is inspired by the Erma Hayman House’s legacy of women-led advocacy and change and part of five-part series, America 250: First Thursdays at JUMP, in collaboration with JUMP.
Moderated by Lana Graybeal, director of External Affairs with Capital City Development Corporation, the panel features Idaho women shattering traditional norms and paving the way for transformative change in industries once dominated by conventional models:
- Angela Taylor, President & Co-Founder of the Taylor LEAD Foundation
- Ellie Ansotegui, Co-owner of Ansots Basque Cuisine
- Kathy Griesmyer, Director of Policy and Government Affairs, City of Boise
- Robin Collins, Community Development Director, City of Caldwell
Come early to check out America 250-themed books from Boise Public Library's pop-up library, the Excitetrike, create your own bookmark, and grab a curated reading list to inspire your next book selection.
The panel discussion is free to attend, with pre-registration encouraged at CityOfBoise.org/America250. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided.
