FY 2017 Arts & History Grant Recipient

“The Letter Box Project,” a cultural project funded in part by the Boise City’s Department of Arts & History Grant program, makes its debut June 1, during a First Thursday event hosted at the Main Library. 

Created by Two Quarters Collective, an artist group based out of Boise and Salt Lake City, “The Letter Box Project” is an elegantly renovated vending machine that dispenses a variety of poetic, handwritten letters. Crafted to meet the widest possible audience, the letters cover a broad range of topics and themes, and are written in English, Spanish, Basque, Farsi, and large print, and embossed in Braille.
