Jillian Whitehill, Executive Assistant
As Executive Assistant, Jillian Whitehill (she/her) acts as the first point of contact—internally and externally—for the Department of Arts & History; oversees day-to-day operations and administration of the department; monitors and reviews the department budget and expenditures; assists in the development and integration of business processes and procedures; and plans and coordinates department presentations, meetings, and events.
Jillian was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii and earned her Master of Education from the University of Washington. She brings to her position a background in account management, event planning, and experience in developing community-based outdoor education programs. As the Executive Assistant of the Department of Arts & History, Jillian is excited to bring together her passion for community development and deep appreciation of the arts and cultural sector.
