About the James Castle House Residency Program
Founded in 2018, the James Castle House Residency Program offers emerging and mid-career artists in any creative field the opportunity to live and work in the historic home of American artist James Castle in Boise, Idaho. Residents are encouraged to draw inspiration from Castle's art, the community, and the site to create a new body of work during their stay. This residency is managed by the Boise City Department of Arts & History. Applications for the residency open each summer.
