About

Join The Boise Bard Players for an exclusive first look at our upcoming production of Othello—one of Shakespeare’s most powerful and provocative tragedies. Experience select scenes performed live by the cast, followed by an open community discussion exploring how Othello’s themes of identity, jealousy, race, and justice continue to resonate today.

Hosted in partnership with the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights, this event invites audiences to consider how art and storytelling can foster empathy, challenge prejudice, and ignite meaningful dialogue about human dignity and equality.

Whether you’re a longtime Shakespeare fan or new to the Bard, this evening offers a unique opportunity to see the play through a modern human-rights lens and engage directly with the artists bringing it to life.

Admission is free, but seating is limited—please reserve your spot in advance.

Tickets and more information can be found at www.boisebardplayers.org/othello.
